Leasing

I live in Indiana farm country, how do you go about leasing some property to hunt? I have never had problems getting permission, but I want a place for just my son and me.

RE: Leasing

Be sure to get the lease agreements in writing. Now is the time to to get all of the seemingly minor agreements cleared up.

RE: Leasing

ck,
When you find the place be sure to take your son with you. I always found doing this was a + .
When writing the lease be sure to ballance it with things to protect the landowner and yourself. Give yourself a option to renew the lease each year if possible or even a long term lease if the owner is open to it.
Make him a copy and you a copy. Get both signed.
Rick
