Which gun for deer?
 

Which one of these rifles would be best for deer hunting? (I allready have an idea which one will be counted out first:D)

whoops i voted for the winchester 30-30.. BEFORE i relized it was a winchester.. sorry..

Heck I'll vote for the Winchester. I have one but I can't hunt deer with it here in Illinois. That 30-30 and a Remington 870 have probably killed more deer than all other fire arms combined.

It was me, I voted for the Enfield. The ballistics are similar to my favorite - 7.62 NATO(.308)

Not knowing anything about your terrain, I have to take the 303. I sporterized a MIV once and had a pretty good rifle. Everything else you listed is pretty short range.

I'D TAKE THE WINCHESTER AN HOPE THAT THE DEER WAS CLOSE ENOUGHT WHEN IT JAMS I COULD THROW IT AT THE DEER

I voted for the beloved .303, it's the Canadian tradition, and best of all, it's MADE IN THE USA!!!!!

If its american made why is the caliber .303 british (and what a suprise the rifle is british too.:D)
