Here it is illegal topossess parts from a wild live animal without a valid tag ie:antlers onskulls, hides, etc. Though a person can get a personaluse wildlife permit from the DNR to allow one to possess such things without a tag. The legal process is to call the nearest DNR field office, the reason is for them to possibly investigate illegal activity. They will then instruct you to what your next move is cuttake itor leave it for them to inspect. Thenyou are required to sign a statement of finding and usage, pay your 10 bucks for the paper and you get your rack. (If they haven't viewed it in a field themsleves you have to take the rack, etc to the DNR office for inspection and processing)
