just wondering if any one is doing shed hunting and how ur doing. Any pictures are nice.

i went out to western SD one weekend and found 21 and other than that i havent had a chance to go i had the misunderstanding that most of the deer had lost there horns but evidently mule deer hold them longer cause we saw many nice bucks that still had both horns

I've kept 28 so far. Mostly mule deer. Some whitetail and elk though. Some new.Some old. Found 12 the last weekend.

Here is nice set i picked up this mourning in North eastern SD. I had my buddy hold them because he was a little jealous for he had never found a pair and on our first outing togetheri picked up a nice set.

My Buddy and i went to North Western SD this weekend shed hunting and had a great weekend we found 48 sheds 1 skull and a huge set of elk sheds

When we go shed hunting we stick mostly to creek systems and tree belts for they provide the most shelter for deer so its thought that is where they spend themajority of there time. Also if u know of bedding areas those are good areas and if there is a place where many deer cross a certain fence check the fence line alot of the time they shed there horns while jumping over fences

I've been shed hunting for 32 years and I have never found 40 in one weekend.The most I ever found in one weekend was 9 and I thought I was good.Congrats how many have you found this whole season?

I've found 12 sheds so far this season, only been able to look a few hours. Did find 4 matched sets though, thats the best I've ever done.

Weve been looking since the last week in march and we have picked up close to 65 not counting skulls im not sure how many dead deer weve found i know that this last weekend when we found the fourty sheds we also found 18 dead deer

I've only found 13 so far .This is my 3rd worst season ever.Guess 13 is better than none though.I aint thru looking yet.

I think there's a conspiracy among the deer around me. They only shed the right side. Can't find any lefts.
