My Buddy and i went to North Western SD this weekend shed hunting and had a great weekend we found 48 sheds 1 skull and a huge set of elk sheds

When we go shed hunting we stick mostly to creek systems and tree belts for they provide the most shelter for deer so its thought that is where they spend themajority of there time. Also if u know of bedding areas those are good areas and if there is a place where many deer cross a certain fence check the fence line alot of the time they shed there horns while jumping over fences

I've been shed hunting for 32 years and I have never found 40 in one weekend.The most I ever found in one weekend was 9 and I thought I was good.Congrats how many have you found this whole season?

I've found 12 sheds so far this season, only been able to look a few hours. Did find 4 matched sets though, thats the best I've ever done.
