Sounds like a kitty to me, covered up with leaves, and the inerds eaten, yepper. The kat is only doing whats natural, trying to survive, no different than you shooting the deer, but I kinda wonder which one needs it the most, you just have to keep in mind that we are visiting their environment and need to respect it as well as their tactics. later on Bobby

Thats a cool story, I'd gladly give up a doe to have an experience like that. As for the cat, you'll probably never see him/her, so don't worry about it.

I live in Southern Illinois and seeing a bobcat or even(believe it or not) black panthers around here is becoming an everday occurence.
There has even been about 3 bobcats hit with cars where I live so they are definetly starting there come back. I bought me a pistol to take out in the woods with me while I am bowhunting just in case. |
