first year bucks......

are all first year bucks(just born that summer) buttons? or are some the spikes and posibly the little forked horn 4pts?? i was just wondering if they can get any bigger than buttons that quick...

All male fawns born in the spring are only buttons in the fall.

I killed a Button Buck this year and estimated it at 100 pounds.
I also killed a 3 point Buck in 1997 (90 pounds) (Fawn)... that had a Spike on one side, and a fork on the other. <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

It aint Braggin if you back it up...
