Default Sheds and big dead buck..

Weather finally got nice and did some shed hunting today..Found a set and found a big dead buck we had seen several times during bow season, it is ashame, would of been a Great bow kill..scored it at 178"..The sheds are from a buck we seen a few times during season, he will be great this year, he has kickers off the back of the rack on both sides..hopefully they will get bigger this year..

Too bad about the dead one you found. Looks like the coyotes did a job cleaning it up. I found one like that, not as big. The skull was all bloody looking and bones and hide were everywhere from the coyotes. Find any evidence on how it might have died? Nice set of sheds also....congrats on the find.

Look at the character of those sheds in the second picture, with the back stickers coming out of his horns, I found them today.. Now look at these pics of a buck Ishot with my bowin 2004 on that same farm..Think the deer I killed passed the genetics on???? They both have the same stickers except the one I killed has way more junk on his rack..I just noticed it tonite..

Wow that is really cool, it looks like it could be from the same genes to me. That would be really cool to reunite papa and son on your wall . Good luck with him!
