Putting deer in the books.....

This was started in the young hunters forum but really wasnt going anywhere so i thought id bring it here. Do yall think that deer shot on ranches (pay to hunt places) should have an * next to the name when they are put in the books? Why or why not? I personally say yes. In fact i think they should even be in their own book.

BW I think "fair chase" implys no high fence hunting ..nothing that restricts the animals movement...sure if you pay to go on a hunt and your lucky enough to harvest a "book" animal it would qualify for B&C as long as it was a "fair chace" situation ... for instanceIm not even sure that you can enter a animal taken while using dogs where it is legal ...but I am sure you can't behind a high fence ...but I do not profess to be the B&C athority on here ...
