That deer would weigh alot more than 340#'s It is as big as the tractor.[:o]

Can we say photoshop?I knew we could.:D:D

I am sure the deer is real but there has been some altering to make it look way bigger than it really is.

JMHO;)

i'd say photoshopped too.

and i HATE conspiracy people.

but the deer's ears are as big as the guy's head.

RE: Anybody hear about this one ?

It's a photography trick. The deer is actually close to the camera while the tractor and the man are behind it....if you angle the camera down a little bit you lose some of the depth perception.

No doubt, the deer is a nice deer by anyone's standards...but a deer that would be that big would have been posted around the world in magazines/news shows/web sites/and local bars.

hoax or not -- that is a massive deer! The rack looks wide and heavy and the deer itself definately looks mature. The neck is pretty thick and the body is well developed. Like I said, hoax or not - impressive deer!

The deer is 160 lbs, the guy is a midget...

Just kidding... Great deer.

I would say its real just because its hard to photoshop a picture with bad quality like that.

Good Point, it is hard for most people to photshop a picture with good quality! But with a good program and a little know-howits not as hard as you may think. I have a buddy who is a communications and digital arts major, he helped me with a project that I did with some photofixin'. He was able to do miracles with a couple of the pics he had to work with!

Yes, we have done this with the kids when they have gone fishing. If you hold the fish just right and stand back it makes it look like the kids caught a much bigger fish than it is.

It's a monster deer, but camera angle makes it appear to be larger than it is.

NY ARCHER 03-03-2007 07:08 AM

RE: Anybody hear about this one ?

Yes, I would agree that is photoshopped ! It has to be. Just look at the size of the guy and the size of the deer. Standing behind would create a different look and size of person and deer, but it's shoulders are at his head when he stands next to it. FAKE !!

The real story here is that deer is alive. It's the guys pet and the man just got home from work. Pet deer sees him and jumps up on him. This deer has been fed growth hormones all it's life, so the size is real.

How do I know all this? I read it ..... I wrote it down and I read it ..... I believe everything I read [8D]

RE: Anybody hear about this one ?

Why is everyone soworked up over it? Photoshopped? Maybe, maybe not. Angle? Sure helps. Guy standing back from deer? Maybe. 340 pounds maybe, maybe not.

But what does any of that matter?

Plain and simple - IT IS A BIG DEER WITH A BIG RACK.

(As for photoshop I think it is wonderful. I have had to photoshop many shots of deer I have shot. If I didn't downsize the deer no one would believe they were real. I guess it just comes with the territory when you're stuck hunting S. IL! [:-])

This one actually is real. It was shot in GA and was taken as it was about to be buried by the back-hoe. They have a problem with farrel pigs breeding with wild pigs getting these hybrid honkers that have really terrible meat to eat. Since they don't taste very hot, they usually kill them and bury them.

The problem with this one is that it was buried before any official measurement were made, so it is impossible to tell how big it actually was, but it was big!

RE: Anybody hear about this one ?

Now my tractor is bigger than the tractor in the pic look at a 240lb buck officaly weighed on a state official scane and look at the doe and the tractor, the doe is right next to the buck and the tractor is right behind/beside the deer, thebucks from hooves are touching the tractor and the right hind leg is laying on the front wheel.almost the same angle in my pic as the other pic. Not sure if the comparison between the two pics are close though or not. The was no trick photography in my pic.
