Default Heater Body Suit-A+ for cold weather hunts

I recently borrowed a Heater Body Suit from my buddy who sells these suits for a very cold and windy late season bow hunt. It was my first hunt with the suit so I was somewhat skeptical. Once I was into my stand, I got the suit on. I should mention I dressed relatively light for the long walk in. Once on the stand for some time, I practiced exiting the suit and grabbing my bow. With my pesimistic attitude, I thought to myself, this would be interesting if a deer would come by. There was a strong west wind blowing toward the suspected bedding area. I figured any deer that would move, would come from the east heading west into the wind towards the cut cornfields about a mile west. I strained my eyes throughout the afternoon towards my east for the most part. I all of a sudden caught some movement only 25 yards away. Sure enough, a deer, an antlerless deer..coming from where? The west, with the wind at it's back!!! I quickly stood up, exited the suit, and grabbed my bow. I was able to do all of that without being seen or heard, but the wind helped too. It was a decent size doe, and we still didn't shoot our self-imposed quota of antlerless deer. She walked passed me on a trail 17 yards away. I drew back the bow and let her fly. She piled up about 40 yards out after a double lung hit. I like to think I am a pretty decent hunter and can tough out the cold. I know that the beautiful doe wouldn't have been on my dinner table if it wasn't for the Heater Body Suit. I would have been out of the stand or wouldn't have bothered due to the weather. I took the suit off and climbed down. It was then when I really realized just how cold it was. It was only 5 degrees and who knows what it was with the wind chill!!! I was comfortable the whole time in the suit. i will be buying one of these from my buddy (hopefully at a reduced price if you are reading this--buddy pal!!!!) But I thought I would let you guys know, it a good product and worth the money. It will be even better for gun hunting. Take care and good Luck....Kyler

Thanks for the review, Kyler. I sure could use one of those. Is there a website that would show what one looks like, plus the price?

The website is www.heaterbodysuit.com If you are really interested, I could get my buddy to mail you a brochure that he has as well. The price from the company is $298.50 up to $313.50 depending on size. Now looking at the price, I would say "That's awful high." But once you hunt out of the suit and experience the warmth, it's more than worth it. Plus, you can dress lighter for the walk in and not get all sweaty and stinky. Then once the suit in slipped over your shoulders for the shot, you won't be hampered with bulky clothing. I can try to get us all a deal if you guys are interested. If you have any further questions, email my buddy at the following. [email protected]
If you need anything else, let me know.
