1) shooting towards me
2) setting up on top of me
3) trying to take my deer

Now, I would have to agree with 6ptsika......the shooting towards me would have got a reaction from me also, and probably not a good one....but us hunters get enough persecution that we don't need to be fighting amongst ourselves...but still, nit wit shooting a shotgun in my direction is not cool.

In our line of work, we must be able to play Dixie and the Battle Hym of the Republic, With Equal Enthusiasm.

After reading all these posts I have to say I am glad I put in for limited opportunity hunts here in Arizona. Yeah, I might not get a deer, but only bumping into maybe 5 other hunters all week makes it worth it. And its the opportunity for me to get out and hunt, not the kill that matters to me anyway.

The DNR warden was a chicken sh**! He has a conflict avoidance problem! He knows you were in the right but tried to avoid hurting anyones feelings and by doing so , he just reinforced an unethical hunters code of conduct!<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

I've heard that the first person to make physical contact (touch) with the deer gets it.
