I live in Western Ky. My farm is only about a mile from Game Trails Farm(outdoor channel show). We manage our deer herd preatty hard. I don't believe in shooting 1 1/2 old spikes, but this buck was clearly older than that. I seen him once during bow season, butI already killed a big 8 with my bow. We are only allowed one buck. I guess someonenext to meshot him(which I'm glad) or he died fighting.

that was obviously a very old buck that was waaaaaaaay passed his prime.

he definitely would not have gotten bigger.

whenever i find a dead deer, i alway check out the ribcage and other bones for evidence of bullets or arrows on the bones, or evidence of getting broken from a car.

i'll post my big spike pic that i found dead today.
