Default RE: Hunting after a snow and ice storm....

Deer have to feed. I once seen a dozen or so deer in a field after a severe ice storm. It was not a pretty site. They can't get any traction like most people. I doubt that they will travel too far from the bedding areas after a ice storm.

Look for those big bucks after a smow storm. If the wind has died down they will get up and get moving, especially if the storm was long in duration, also you have an advatage of looking for fresh tracks.

I don't like to hunt until after the storm front has moved through.
