RE: What time of day do you get your deer?
Depends on the time of year and where I am hunting.Early in the year morning or evening. Near rut or post rut 10-3.
If hunting food sourcesor close to themits usually bestnear low light times.

WHEN THE RUT IS ON
Mornings seem to be the best where Iam. ( 8am to 9am) then evenings come second ( 4pm to dusk) ....but all the real big boys are usually between 11 am and 3 pm....I have a saying to guys in our camp " if you see a lone doe come out into the open GET READY"

All hours. I firmly believe that if it's hunting season and you can be out there, you gotta be there. The one and only surefire hunting skill is persistance. Since'99 my 8bucks have been killed at 5pm, 1pm, 7am, 3pm, 1pm, 7am, 8am, and 3pm. No pattern there at all that I can see, other than maybe it's a bit light in the final two hours of daylight, but I think that's a fluke created by small sample size.
