It depends on what it likes. I shoot fusion 150grn through mine, as it groups around 1.5" @ 100 yards. I tried the new Hornady Leverrevolution, but got a lot of drop when trying @ 200 yards. I would buy a couple different brands in 150, 160 and 170grns and try them out to see which works best. I would at least buy a box of the Hornady Leverevolution in 160grn and try them out, as they have potential to give you a 200 yard and little more rifle.

I've had good results with Remington Corelockt soft points in 150 and 170 grains.

I have the same gun and I use Rem Corelockt. They work just fine.

Rack up another for the Rem's. I like the 170's, haven't had a deer go more than 10 wobbly steps after a shot. With a 30/30 I'm not concerned about any deer past 150 yds so the Leverevolution are, imo, a waste. Just what I think. But in my neck of the woods the longest shot most are presented with is around 150-200 yds, so a super long shooting caliber and cartridge is not needed. I longest shot on a deer is probably around 90 yds, and he dropped in his tracks with the 170 Rem's.

I have to agree with you in using/having the .30-.30 for a 150 yard and in rifle and not really needing the leverrevolutions. I honestly would prefer to use my ML or .300 win mag if having shots 150 and beyond.
