RE: what is your gun of choice?
Far too many, I just couldnt pick one. But I have a couple...well...maybe like 20 or 30 I could narrow it down to.
But I really lke my remington 870's and 1100's. I like my remington model 700's, 7400's, 7600's. I like my savage model 99's. I like my winchester 100's and 88's. I like the winchester 1873. I like the browning bps, bar, and blr's. Imy ithaca model 37's. I like my winchester model 12's. I like my remington model 11 sportsman. I like the remington model 8's and 81's.I like remington model 10's and model 17's.And I cant forget the browning a-5's
Believe me my friend, that doesn't cover half of my favorites.
Firearms are very intersesting and they all have alot of history behind them. I like firearms not just to hunt or shoot with....but I also love the history behind them also.

For deer, my 50 cal. knight, good to 200 yards. No center fire for deer around here.
For shotgun, 20 gauge Remington single shot, 12 is a waste of meat, and you only need one shot.
Small varmit, .204 ruger. Large varmit 6mm Remington mag

RE: what is your gun of choice?
Me and a couple of my buddies fight over using a Savage .270 that has been passed around between us for years...it has never, ever missed a deer and the scope has not been adjusted since one of my freind's Grandpa bought it. It has a fixed power scope, only 4x. Out on the farm we hunt on, I hit 3 drink cans at a hundred yards with three rounds, and it will hit an orange juice container sitting on a hay bale at 450-500 yds, I promise
