10 Point from Mississippi
 

Hey guys...I thought that yall might like to see the deer I shot on 12-5-06.




He is a main frame 10 point...16 in. spread...23 and 22 in. main beams...5 in. bases...4 1/2 years old and weighed 240 lbs.

I shot him laying in some grass with two other bucks and a hot doe...I spotted him (his horns)while going to move a stand in order to get closer to where he was bedding...

Shot him at 20 yds...with my 45-70...he never moved...just fell over!

Naw, my truck with my Honda in it was only parked about 250 yds. away...drove my 4-wheeler right up to him..I had to have help loading himup though...plus, I was kind of curious how much he weighed and I only live 3 minutes from where I hunt!;)

Nice Buck Living 3 mins away from where you hunt I wish I could be so lucky.You said 3 others bucks laying there sounds like you will have more like that to come even if you have to wait for them to get bigger.

what is your business in clarksdale? I am a ups driver over there. very nice deer. good to see that on here, mississippi needs to be recognized for its deer herd. especially the delta where those type of bucks are becoming more frequent.

That deer is almost a replica of one that I missed this year at 22 yards with my bow...... Congrats on the fine deer.

My business is Written In Stone Monument Company.....Yeah I know alot of people who kill GREAT bucks every year and they never get em scored or even entered into the books...especially in Coahoma and Bolivar counties....the deer herd is very rich in this region!
