When you're editing your profile. Your pic is called an avatar. Download your profile pic to the avatar and it should work.

I think it's a little big, you might haveto reduce it to 100X100. The one that Tyrus21 has is 128X127

Also, if you get the avatar authorized, you need to hit the "Apply" button, not the "Okay" button. That was my problem.
