Congradulations on your first deer young man, Hunting whitetailwill give you a lifetime of pleasure and they will teach you something new every year. Now go out next year and whack a big buck.

Even though you are too young, I wuold have mixed up some of that deer blood with some vodka and taken a victory shot. It brings good luck to your hunts in the future and puts hair on your chest.

Congradulations on your deer. Let that little doe hang as long as you can and it will taste like prime rib.

Congratulations on your first. Keep hunting and you will not be disappointed, Alabama is loaded with white-tailed deer. A higher population than any state near where I live now!

I grew up in Alabama. Got my first deer with a bow nearly thirty years ago. Have taken many since with bow, rifle and a couple with shotgun.

Congrats man !!!! I noticed in your story you showed some patience with waiting way to go. I shot my first deer this year as well I just wish i was you age when I started. Enjoy the meals I know i am.
