RE: Killed My First Deer
Congrats to you and THANKS! to your uncle for getting another youngster hooked on the outdoors.
I'm sure you thanked your uncle but somewhere down your road you're going to have to, if not want to "pay it back". By this I mean that one day you'll turn a youngster (or many) on to the great outdoors.
Then it's come full circle!
It will be a wonderful feeling when you sit down with your family and enjoy a wonderful meal of venison that you provided. Orgivingsome meat to a family that may be in need.
Remember who created the animals (and uncles!) and give humble thanks.
Congrats again!

Congrats on your first doe and welcome to the sport!
Welcome to your first off-season of buck fever where you find yourself frequently day-dreaming of hunting anytime school or work gets slow whether it be replaying the last hunt in your mind or imagining the next one!
It's an addiction and the only cure is more of it!
