I would try your stand as along as you can, and see if they move at all.I have found that with the type of weather we are going to get this weekend they will most likely find a thick spot out of the wind and wait it out.You may have to try and move them yourself.Also look for them in thick tree tops or in gulleys.Think like a deer and ask yourself where would be the best place to get out of the wind and snow,but by all means get out and hunt.Good Luck.

I'm with you! Hunting in wind is tough! However, I was out yesterday in 10 to 15 MPH winds and blowing snow showers...and I saw one doe. Unfortunately...her boyfriend appears to be finished with her. My Dad was hunting about 1/2 mile away and also saw one doe. I would try and sit as long as you can stand it...then still hunt. I was in tall pines with mixed understory...which she was browsing upon. Maybe try a drive??

yah my friend hunted in the morning and stalked a nice 10 got about 50 yards but didn't have a shot and then we went hunting tonight and he saw a couple doe and i didn't see to much froze my butt off though

It was snowing and blowing all weekend here in northeast Indiana. I went out Saturday morning saw nothing. Was going to go out in the afternoon it was way to windy. I did see deer from the house. It was only two little button bucks. Did not go out all on sunday. It was just to darn cold and windy. Well I cant wait till saturday once muzzleloader starts and late arhery.
