I believe that Anti-hunters don’t understand fully why people enjoy hunting. I wish I had the chance to take an Anti-hunter out with me during the whole process of hunting from start to finish. I could show them the sheer thrill of the experience. We would start with the work involved in finding the right spot through scouting area after area of trees looking for trails, scrapes, or rubs from that large buck. (or doe dependin on your preference) After the scouting had been completed I would next show them the peacefulness experienced while a person sits in the perfect spot and listens to and watches the nature that surrounds them beforethat ususpectingdeer walks past. One of the last things that I would show them is the extremely satisfying feeling you get from the adrenaline pumping all the way down to your toes when you harvest that buck of a life time. The moment you see your buck laying there waiting for you is when all of the hard work leading up to the moment of truth pays off and you get a feeling that I can’t describe in words, only throughexperiencing it do you understand the rush it sends shivering down your spine.
