camouflage...
I was just wondering if it could effect anything if I wear moss oak jacket and realtree hardwood pants? Can the deer tell the difference or maybe even turkeys?
|
RE: camouflage...
Yea they can, they point laugh and talk about how tacky you look.
Whats worse is when the guys at the gun shop turns their backs on your because you dont match. |
RE: camouflage...
Yeah deer are very acute at picking out fashion fau pauxs.

RE: camouflage...
I'm all hardwoods, but I dont think it hurts. In fact, it probably helps. You figure you're two small blobs of two patterns than one big blob of a single one. I bet the single blob sticks out a bit more.

ORIGINAL: Branson I'm all hardwoods, but I dont think it hurts. In fact, it probably helps. You figure you're two small blobs of two patterns than one big blob of a single one. I bet the single blob sticks out a bit more. Iusually go with a pattern that has a darker look to it for my legs to blend in with the shadows of the ground... And a "lighter' pattern to helpconceal my bodyabove the shadowedground. |
RE: camouflage...
I think that the biggest key in any camois to not have solid colors, but to have patterns to break-up outline.

RE: camouflage...
I think you could wear sky-blue pink with yellow polka dots, as long as you don't move when they are looking at you they won't see ya.

RE: camouflage...
kenman, interesting theory and you're probably right.

RE: camouflage...
If my Wrangler blue jeans and work shirts don't bother them, then I am sure miss matched camo should't concern them too much.

Retriverman,
It was that bad***hat you're wearing that got you that buck. He knew just to lay down and die rather than messing with a guy wearing a great hat like that |
