Watched a squirrel running around for about 25 minutes, then he went up a tree and was jumping from tree branch to branch. He was slowly working his way towards an obviously dead tree. As soon as he lands on the branch of the dead tree, there's a loud snap and as if in slow motion, the branch and squirrel begin plummeting earthward from about 50 feet up with the squirrel flailing the whole way down.

happened upon a crappy house trailer with "for sale" and a phone number spray painted on it. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

A skunk with backwards colors. It was a white skunk with a black stripe. Pretty cool looking.

During my yearly Elk hunt I was sitting after a long hike the day was clear and the snow was melting fast . It was at about 9:30 amand started to Stalk up the mountain, well saw a spike and a cow, when I came to a Plato that cliff-ed out some 800 yards away. I sat down and started to glass. I noticed a large golden eagle lofting around the cliff. At this time I spotted a lone cow Elk moving threw at some 100 yards away. During my observation of her I hear what sounds like a glider coming down on me.
look up and about 100 ft is that Golden Eagle Dive Bombing a Bald Eagle that was just passing threw. The golden Eagle was by far the bigger bird and has his way with the bald eagle the screeching from both of them itwas way cool tried to get it on video but could not lock on them fast enough.

Everything around me and the fact that I was able to relax for once in my life and respect nature. I've had my share of problems the past several years and I'm finally coming back to Earth. Being out in the woods with wild animalsand realizing that you're not the only hunter is a great thing.

Dude...That IS freakin hilarious. What would have been the s--- is if someone was livin in there and came out to ask what all the commotion was about...Or was there someone living there???

I think the coolest thing I saw this season was watching the first buck I have ever seen close up... approach me...walk around for a few...and then fall to my .308 First buck...first deer:D


Oh and watching Rusty_S blast a woodduck out of a darkpurple sky just barely able to make out the silohuette..With his shotgun 7" from my face...loud and cool!!!

We are seeing more and more coyote in Southeast Virginia and this year I saw a jet black coyote. It was very neat looking. I also saw a black buck, two other guys saw it and we believe it to be one of those pigmently challenged deer.

But I would have to say that the coolest thing I saw this year was my 7 year old son with me. He really did a good job and I loved him being out in the woods with me this year.
