i used to have a magazine with a pic of 600+ pound whitetail killed in minnesota i think. one of the hunting mags did a special on the biggest deer killed, it was about 8 year ago though. i think that deer field dressed at over 500 so they guessed about 600 on the hoof

From what I heard was that it was actually 511# and it was taken in the northern part or the central part of our state.You could try our MDHA their website is www.mndeerhunters.com and also the website to the dnr www.dnr.state.mn.us hope this helps you out.
