best feeder for your money is ....

1. about 6 to 7ft of black drainage pipe for landscaping the kind without holes in the side.

2. take some old metal coat hangers or anytime of cable or zipties

3. take the flex pipe and use the zipties to fasten it to the tree of your choice.
4. once fastend to the tree fill it with what ever you want them to eat, once you've done that take a old empty coffee can and place on top.
5. pick up on the pipe abit to let some corn or what ever to slide out end on the ground.

I don't see the difference between my set up compaired to a time feeder. time feeder dumps it on the ground at a certain time...drop feeder puts just a little out unless the deer hit it to make more come out.

but to each its own

Hey guys,

Tomorrow I'm going to go to Menards (a home improvement store.)

I thought up a plan for making a gravity deer feeder out of 3 or 4" PVC. I was just wondering, what do do I use to connect the PVC pipes/couplings to eachother? Isn't it some type of adhesive/glue stuff, what is the technical name for it?

Thanks in advance

Oh and by the way, feeding deer here is fully legal and in all honesty I will not be feeding them to end up killing them later on. The land I will be putting the deer feeder on is a non-hunting parcel owned by my family, it's our personal what we call "wildlife sanctuary" where we like to go camping and whatnot because of the peaceful environment and scenery.
