I guess some are confusedon a earlier post regarding how much is spent on deer hunting. So this is not a "preseason' question but maybe a question of how much you spend for the whole season. Myself I'm probably right at the $500 mark. I guess thats cheap compared to some of the remarks in the other pole.

Lets see bought land, built hunting cabin, guns, bows, equipment, road, gravel,culverts, stands, fence, gates etc. Approx. $50,000. I'm 48 with maybe 15 good hunting years left. Calculates out to around $3,400 a year to hunt.Don't tell my wife!

Sounds to me if you got some land, improvements to the land,and was able to build a cabin you done pretty darn good. Congrats

i got everything i need from previous years... i might of spend 50$ a year for the last 5years if that... But over an entire year... maybe 600 hundred on ammo...

I'm in about the same boat as Dan , I already have all the basic equipment I need , so what little I spend is $100 or less .

I spend about $4,000 on leases. Plus gas, eats, plots, etc probably $5,000+.

Lately the most expensive part of going hunting is the $100 of fuel for the weekend.
