Hunt In The Rain?

Is it good to hunt in the rain? I have several times with no luck and tomorrow is last day of deer hunting season.

They will move in light to slightly moderate rains.

But heavier rains will have them bedded, waiting it out. That actually is a good time to stalk them in their beds. Around me, they like to get under the trees that don't drop their leaves - pines. Stalking in the rain keeps your scent down and helps cover sounds.

Last day? Want to get out?

DO IT?

Without question if you have a good blind or coverto keep you dry for the most part. Cover and concealment, it helps mask your scent and perhaps allows you to move in on the deer if you know their habbits and have been tracking them for a while.
