Smearing deer droppings on your boots

If you smear deer droppings on your rubber boots will it help cover up your smell or at least the smell of your boots? I see deer droppings all around my house and it seems to be a natural and free way to cover up your scent -- but my boots are the only thing it's going on:)

iwould advise you to hire a new maid and look for that deer in your house..:D

ona serious side,,it couldn't hurt..i usually put fox or reg doe urine on the bottom of myboots by useing sweet bands that are easy to take off and put on from them being elastic.. just put in a ziploc bag when done.. also,, i never put my hunt boots on till i get to my hunt spot.. just think of the material at gas stations or parking lots that gets on your boots that scent won't cover..

I've only heard of this trick working if you smear it on your face like camo paint.

Deer droppings around the outside of my house :) Most of my hunting will be on my property so I will just be walking from my house to the hunting spot.
