I hunted hard my first season and blew many opportunities and finally scored on a nice 8 point with 3 days left in the season. This was my second year and I got two does but no buck. Next year I'll try for the big guy again. Just go and have fun and enjoy the outdoors!!!

Actually, I had one unsuccessful season before that one. I bought a shotgun license and stalked does bedded by our creek. I missed a doe. I don't really count that though since it was like a walk and not hunting and I only went likea hundred yards from the house. I went like5 times.

This is my first season and I shot a button buck and followed that up with a nice doe.

My first year I didn't shoot anything. But be proud of anything you shoot.

same for me ceptin' it took me 2 seasons and i got a good sized doe with a 20g and the bead was crooked, this was a few days after i missed an 8ptr with a 12g slug gun 5 times. talk about crazy.[8D]

Button buck my first season I killed a deer. I hunted 2 years before I got one.
