The best ammo?

What do you guys think is the absolute best round for specifically whitetail deer hunting? By the way it will be for my Remington SPS DM in 30-06. And I don't care how expensive it is, I just want the best!

Your rifle might like the cheaper ammo! You have to test with different brands and bullet styles and then it will tell you.....this is the one I like!

My friends that use the 30-06 swear by remington 180 gr. core lokt's. Either the pointed or round nose. If it were me I'd start with those loads.

I am a big fan of Federal Hot Cor soft points, I have shot a few deer with 180 Gr Hot Cors, in a .300 Win Mag, and have had none take a step. I also shoot that bullet in my .338 Win Mag.
