???? the 150 buck or the mature white doe????
On sunday I seen a 150 score buck and a doe that is 95% white running together 200 yards from my house.I asked the neighbor if I could sit on his 7 acres where they run through.I was shocked he said yes.Are rifle season opens on Monday and I'm positive the locals are going on a witch hunt for the white doe.If given the chance I'm not sure which one to shoot? I have shot 150's and even a 192 buck. But never a white deer.If they both walked up to me together I'm not sure what I would do,Probably take the white doe. What would you do? Just curious??? The only way I would shoot the white Doe would be if I give it honor with a full body mount.

I wouldn't shoot the white deer. Thats bad luck, very bad magic. I would be perfectly happy with the 150's class buck.

At this time in my life I would take the 150 class deer but for some who has taken a few deer that big I would think it would be neet to have a full body mount of a white doe. Good luck in what ever you decside to take.

cardeer I would more than likely shoot the white doe, albinoes and piebalds have always fascinated me. I have only seen one piebald in the wild, never seen an albino.

I can say that without a doubt in my mind, I would take the Doe. I've made up my mind in the past that if I see a piebald/albino deer, I'm taking it (Unless it is still a fawn) BUT! if I brought my camera and my gun I fwould take the buck and spend every waking moment with both until I got him. then I'd spend eveywaking moment until I got the doe ON FILM!
If I only had my gun, the doe would go first.

I have never seen a bino deer, although I agree if I could give it a full mount I would probably opt to take her...BUT seeing my wife gives me grief about shoulder and antler mounts in the main level of the house...i'd probably pass her up. I can just see it, i shot an albino doe and I am doing a full body mount "Honey, Honey are you still their"....locks changed and big fat check each month. Oh she is a good one, but doesn't really like dead animals staring at her...says at night when she's home alone, it gives her the creeps. I respect that and love her death, so why push it. Now the 150 buck, really depends on the deer. 150 is my min. to harvest, but i have let many go that would reach 150 for various reasons: a) bigger deer in the area b) young deer c) rack does nothing for me (looking for something different)..just to name a few. So I probably would let the situation dictate itself and if not interested in him then be happy to just watch and take some pics.
Good luck and hope you get the opp to see what you'll do.
