I'm leaving for WV tomorrow afternoon to hunt Wed-Sat. I've only hunted in GA and NC. What can i expect as far as the rut this week? What is a good buck for the area? I'm hunting a private farm on the Jackson/Wood Co line? Are there any doe days this week? Also, the forcast says that it is supposed to snow a couple inches this week, how will this affect the hunting?
Thanks for any help,
KP

The rut is goin hard right now. An average buck for around here would have to be an 8 point. I have seen alot of 8 points recently and big main frames and wide racks. The doe days I am not sure about you will have to check with the DNR if you go to www.huntinglinks.com and then look for the DNR link and choose your state and htne theirs you answer. Let us know how you faired.
