She's what I call a lookin' deer. That's any deer I can see from mydeck.Besides, it's Christmas and my freezer is full. She gets a pass and I'll stick another carrot on Frosty to keep the kids happy. Ho Ho Ho.

Me too except I might have to keep the kids from doing it and I'm not usually packing while drinking coffee on my nonexistant deck christmas morning, in the snow,... what the heck!

I have been hunting for many years and spend as much time in the woods as possible.
BUT, I have one personal conviction...Inever hunt on Christmas Day.
I have no problem with any one else that wants to hunt that day, it's just not my cup of tea.
I celebrate "Peace on Earth" and that goes for the animals as well.
Deer season here in NH has ended and I still hunt birds with my Springer 'til Dec 31st....but never on Dec 25th!
To answer the question - if this was not Christmas Day- I would pass.
I just don't shoot backyard deer.
