sign post rubs
i have read wherebucks will rub the same tree year after year.i have hunted a particular area for two years now and noticed that three cedar trees are rubbed each years. all three trees being rather large would lend me to believe that a good buck is in the area.other hunters i have talked with that know the area say at least 3 good bucks are there, but no one has harvested one yet (must be nocturnal). my question is this, with the same trees getting action year after year is this the same buck or all bucks in the area?

RE: sign post rubs
I have seen deer after deer use a pine tree that is bordered by a fence on one side and a trail on the other. Every buck I saw go buy this tree would make a scrape and use the licking branch. I think deer just use this like a dog uses a fire hydrant. If they remain in the area I'm sure they use it year after year.
