If no house in background - there is a very large kill zone even thru the grass.I'd take him at 75yrds.BTW I took a similar shot 2 days ago at 75yrds+- on a doe.It was a boom flop shot.She's in the freezer.

If he was in range with a bow I would probably take him. With the 06, I would let him walk.

Yep, no-brainer, I'd hold for high on the base of the neck. The grass is pretty thin for that sight picture, and a fair margin of error for windage.

head shot if you miss no big deal nobody sets up a stand with houses in the background anyways.
