I think the best sign is Hunting With Written
Permission Only.I see alot of posted property around and some I still asked to hunt and was granted permission because I was the first one who ever asked.I understand why people post their land usually some slob hunter does some stupid thing and ruins it for everyone or doesn't ask at all.With written permission people get to hunt,and you can control it and you know who is on your land if something happens.It is getting harder and harder to find land to hunt on and we should all work together to promote hunting we have enough anti's to worry about.

My cousin had what I thought was a real neat posted sign. It stated. "THIS PROPERTY PROTECTED BY A 12 GA. SHOTGUN 4 DAYS OF THE WEEK. YOU FIGURE OUT WHICH DAYS!"

I was fishing once and came up on signs that said DANGER BOMB IMPACT AREA there are lots of military bases around here. Them signs sure kept me out. LOL

How about the yellow ribbon that says "under investigation do not cross." Then have an outline of a dead body laying on the ground. That would work for me!

The sad thing is that you should not need to post your property! If you don`t own it, or don`t have permission to be on it, you should stay off it!

We have found that just posting the road does as much good as anything if they are going to tresspass they will do it no matter how many signs are up .
