the cart i built is 20" wide pretty strong too. i think 12" wide might be pushing it.

i just got back from friend who made a DEER CART out of a old wheelchair ..he used the wheels and bottom frame..he found the wheelchair at public dump..

he then took 3/4 inch conduit and made a frame for it..he has about 20 dollars into it..he used lawn chair strapping at wal-mart to hold deer between it..i think it was 24 inchs wide..real nice and light as feather..

this ios better than using bicycle tires and parts you would have to buy..wheelchair comes with everything..

the one he had ,it had wheels about 28 inchs with slotted spokes and made of plastic..

You really need several ways to get your deer out. The cart does not work well in thick vegetation. A sled would be better for that situation. I will say the cart is slightly harder than just walking when retrieving game.

My cart is barely showing on the bottom left of the picture. MV out!

last monday i got my buck here in pa..i have been sick from that day..i blame it on dragging that buck out of woods..

when you hit 60, you just cant do things you did at 20..

i am building a deer cart out of a wheelchair ,if i find one..

hello folks, need advice.. i am getting older now and dragging deer out of the woods is getting to much..

i shot 8 point buck first day..i had to drag it about 1/2 mile ..i was all in and now have cold over it..

my question is,what is good way to get deer out other than dragging it..some said those carts are good..i also have ladder stand that i need something to haul that into woods also,so, whatever could be used for both the stand in and deer out..

any tips would be appreciated..
Might want to go to yard sales this spring and summer. If you can find one of these,They can be converted into a treestand carrier and deer carrier all so. My nephew and uncle converted one of these for their two person ladder stand. It works quite nice with the big tires.
