One doe and one button buck with my new Remmington ADL 243 and 100 grain power shock soft points by Federal. Going back for the second season Thursday,.

My old Marlin 30-30 with a Winchester 170 grain Silvertip. Open sights. Classic "old school" way of getting a deer!

First one, with an Encore 209x50 ML loaded with 130 gr Pyrodex and 250 gr Hornady SST. The other 4, with a Marlin 336T 30-30 loaded with 160 gr Hornady LeverEvolutions. My son killed two the same Encore ML and same load. He also killed 3 with an Encore 270 loaded with 140 gr Win Supreme Accubonds.
