I got a deergun rack mounting kit so I could make a homemade gun rack made out of the deer I killed earlier. I got the bone out and was ready to sew the skin on around the plastic model whenI noticed that the skin isn't long enough to go around the model. It's maybe an inch short.I'm debating on making the plastic smaller or maybe putting leather or brown cloth under it so the plastic won't show. Any other suggetions other than shooting a bigger deer?

Not sure what to tell you on that one but if you direct the same question at the taxidermy forum im sure one of the guys over there can assist you.
