Philip this 12 year old killed his first deer here at Pax River MD!!!

That kid doesn't look like he can draw legal (though I may be wrong) so I presume it was a gun kill? Despite, he's probably totally spoiled now.

Legal draw meaning legal minimum poundage. Not sure what it is there but here in WI it's 45 pounds.

Why isn't he smiling? I cracked the camera with my smile when I killed my first deer, a doe when I was 14....

The only thing I have against kids shooting deer of this caliber is they don't get it....don't get me wrong, I am very happy for him but for crying out loud, he looks mad, not happy...l

Rope, teach him son, teach him...

gun sorry for putting it on the bow side but had that deer in bow range a week ago and could get him to stop!!!
