Rifle Hunting In ONtario???
Does anyone do It?
I'm interested in Hunting Ontario. I live In Michigan and have been told there are a few guys that go every year and it runs them about 500 to 600 dollars for about a week...

I rifle hunt Ontario every year,, but I live here as well.
I know there are some guys from Michigan that go to the NW corner of Ontario every year. One group knows people there and it runs them about 700 apiece,,, another group goes through an outfitter and it costs about 3000 apiece.

The 2004 regs say a non-res lisence is $170, that gets you one antlered deer tag. I don't think you can buy additional.

There are a lot of mature big bodied bucks out in this neck of the woods...I suggest bringin a fishing rod too...fishin is great once your tagged out..On the extra tags...I do beleive ( i am not sure ) that they are for residents only...and I know for a fact that they are does tags only. If you have any questions send me a pm and I'll try to help you at the best I can.

I'd do it in a Minute if I could get by for 700.. But never 3000..
I'm really interested in any info i can obtain.. I'm sick of all the BullPoop I deal with here in Western Michigan.. Too many hunters, Terrible Genetics and terrible amount of Mature bucks..
