Is this a good way to get hunting land?
Would it be worth my time going around and posting signs that say something like "Pest Deer Removal" or something to try and get some land to hunt? I wouldnt do it for this year, but for next. I was just curious if yall thought I would get some calls or not.
Thanks

Heres a great idea that worked for me when I wanted too get ona really good farm. I went to the farmers house in the spring.. Knocked on the door and told him..
Ive been drivingdown this road lately.. Ive noticed a ton of garbage in the ditch alongthe roadover here and it really is disturbing me.... do you mind if I park in your driveway for a few hours so I can go pick some of it up and get it out of here??
Farmer looked completely shocked and said of course you can.. When I got back to my vehicle he came out and met me there,, invited me in to his house for a cold drink and a sandwich and we got too talking.. I was in like a dirty shirt! and not only on his property but ive been invited too hunt several farms in the area,, and I clean ditches every spring for a weekend!

Go and find your local farmers. Especially ones with corn and beans. Many times deer will put a major dent in a farm's production of crops. So most farmers would be glad to have you reduce their crop loss.

There's a group in this area that claims they're doing deer pest removal. I know a few of them. They're just some hunters who came up with a creative idea and acted on it. They now have a huge number of properties to hunt on and they take some impressive bucks on a few of those places.
I think Swampthing's idea is a good one too.
