I saw this buck this weekend at the Deer Classic in Eau Claire, WI. It ended up netting 206 and change non-typical. No idea what the gross score was. Great buck!

Netted 206 4/8. Inside spread of 29 5/8, and unless there was a bigger one shot since '05, I believe it's tied for the 5th widest in the world. It's a new trempealeau county Non-Typical record. I'm not sure how it stacks up in the state history. And I also heard today there's a rumor that the family is fighting over it, and that John and the nephew spent a night in jail because they got in a fight over who it belongs to, and both of these couldn't be any farther from the truth...there has not been a single argument about it yet. And still no $150,000 offers from cabelas.

i too was there that day...followed the blood trail after the initial hit. one of hte most amazing sights seeing his rack laying on the ground. as u could well imagine, emotions took over and i let out a huge cheer. the deer jumped up and ran to the aforementioned bank that was close to 20 ft. tall. one of the best experiences in my life and something that i will never forget
