The otehr night a friends father saw a "huge" buck run across the raod in front of him and he swears up and down he was a monster. I believe him,alright well i have caught glimpses of a big deer behind my house.i just recently put up a cam. so maybe i will see him, hopefully.my question is what do nocternal bucks do during the day? do they bed all day and then roam at night?i think that is what they do but what if they get jumped?we did 5 drives in the ditche he came from and went to ( one goes to a highway and another is where he entered) and we saw nothing but bucks. do they hide themselves so good they just stay bedded all day? that is just my mind thinking ....answer plz

Big bucks don't get big by being dumb. Until the rut they will lay up in thickets if they are pressured, and if you drive them enough they might relocate.

Yep what "timbercruiser" said they will be in stuff so thick you will wonder how in the world did he carry his antlers thourgh it.lol

timbercruiser is right on the money,the last suturday of our shotgun hunt I saw the biggest buck of my life and that is just what he did.He sat in the thickest stuff you could find then when we were by he just snuck out the back side and gave us just enough of a glimpse to get the heart pounding.He better not stick around to long muzzy hunting opens on monday.lol
