Cameras

Do you take one, (video camera),in the woods with you ? I started this year and got some fantastic video. I thought it was the high light of my hunt. All my friends and relatives thought it was really neat as well.

RE: Cameras

I will take my digital (that takes video) during nice weather, but have started leaving it behind after it cost me a shot at a buck. I was photographing a buck and didn't realize that another had entered the field withing range. Ever since then I leave it in the truck for field photos, but don't use it while on stand.
I do take it to my stand off-season and "hunt" with it, I have some awsome trophie pics.

Since i tagged out in archey season this year i took the video camera and my digital out and sat with my dad, got a little footage but was unable to get his buck on cam. (had a hard time finding it on the LCD screen) I did learn alot tho and will be ready with the video cam come spring gobbler season.

RE: Cameras

I brought a video camera once when I went to Vermont to hunt with my brother. My brother had already tagged out so he got to be the camera operator. Generally I just carry my digital camera with me.
