On stand

If you smoke do you do it while in your stand or blind. I smoke cigars while in my tree stand. Does not seem to bother the deer.

I'm not a smoker, but I have a good fried who has got a couple of nice bucks while taking a "smoke break" in the woods.

I don't smoke at all, but my uncle does and doesn't hesitate to smoke while in the woods. He always seems to get deer, so I dont think it bothers them too much.

I think if your up in a stand and have the wind in your face the smoke goes up and behind you so they never get a chance to smell it.
I do save an empty water bottle to put the ciggerete butts in because they stink worse then the smoke.

It could be probably used as a cover scent. I dont think deer register tobocco smoke as danger.
