Well guys I'm having a little "fun" picking the mount for my 1st deer mount.. and I thought it would be fun for others to post their mounts from years past.. so post up. Would like to see what others have done out there.

I'll be mounting my 1st too. Think I'm gonna do a "semi" sneak w/o a board. Prolly gonna upgrade the eyes too.

I'll have to work on getting some pics of some of the mounts that we have at my parents house. Whenever we get a deer mounted, we usually try and get the mount that resembles how the deer looked while we were taking the shot. For instance, my 10-point I got three years ago was quartering away and looking back towards his left, so I had him mounted with a slight turn. Usually works out pretty good for capturing that amazing moment!
