RE: Outfitters, guides, etc.
A lot of people use a guided hunting trip as a vaction. The meals are usally prepared for you and are great. You can reach land that if you did it on your own it would be next to impossible. The down side is some satifaction that you got it on your own. I have elk hunted with a guide and with out, I have had success at both but it is a lot nicer coming back at the end of the day and having your meals prepared for you. Because no matter how you do it wilderness elk hunts are tuff.

RE: Outfitters, guides, etc.
Tuff???? I went on my first one 2 years ago, man oh man it was the tuffest hunt I have ever been on in my life. I don't know what I would have done if I had not prepared by walking on a treadmill every day for 2 months.WEW, let me tell you you I love to eat good meals, and we had some dandies. But 2 days out of the 7 we were there I didn't even supper. I just came in and went to bed.
